What is the reason for Abdullah Naseeb's absence from the match against Goa, India!
The administrative manager of Al-Zawraa team, Mohammed Jassim, confirmed that the absence of the Jordanian defender Abdullah Naseeb from the team's match against Goa, India in the first round of the AFC Champions League 2 is due to an administrative error by Al-Hussein Irbid Club, the club that loaned the player to Al-Zawraa during the transfer period.
He added: "The problem lies in the contract's wording, which did not comply with the regulations of the Iraqi Football Association, preventing the player from participating in the match."
He stated: "The management of Al-Zawraa is making great efforts to resolve this issue as soon as possible, to ensure that the player is ready for upcoming matches as soon as the administrative situation is settled."
He concluded: "Despite the temporary absence of the player, the coaching staff relies on the other team members to compensate for the shortfall in the defense line, while maintaining the team's cohesion and tactical performance against the Asian competitor."
