Sheffield United Sacks Robin Silis
Sky Sports reported that Sheffield United has officially decided to sack coach Robin Silis from his position as head coach of the first team after a string of negative results since the start of the season.
Silis had taken over the team in June, succeeding Chris Wilder, and signed a three-year contract, but his tenure did not last long after the team lost all six matches played under his management.
The dismissal came after the heavy defeat the team suffered on Friday, losing 5-0 to Ipswich Town in the English Championship.
According to Sky Sports, Chris Wilder is a strong candidate to return to lead the team again.
