Al-Ghandour: The Council of Hussein Labib Has No Right to Dismiss Ferreira
Media figure Khaled Al-Ghandour confirmed that the Board of Directors of Zamalek, headed by Hussein Labib, does not have the right to dismiss coach Yannick Ferreira.
Al-Ghandour said in statements via "On Sport" radio: "I want to share a very, very important piece of information... The contract of John Edward, the sports director of Zamalek, includes a clause that he is the only one with the right to dismiss the head coach or to keep him."
He added: "John Edward is in control of the team's project, not the Board of Directors headed by Hussein Labib, and the final decision in all football matters is made by John Edward, not Labib and his council."
Zamalek is currently preparing to face Al-Masry Al-Portsaid on next Saturday as part of the sixth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
