Thiago Alcântara attended Barcelona's training today, Thursday, after returning a few days ago to the Catalan club to work within the coaching staff led by German coach Hans Flick.

According to reports, the former Spanish star's tasks will focus on contributing to tactical aspects and preparing training sessions, alongside other roles, benefiting from his vast experience and unique vision of the game to enrich the team's daily work.

It is worth noting that Alcântara had previously collaborated temporarily with Flick during the last summer, following Xavi Hernandez's departure from coaching the team.

The club stated: "Thiago Alcântara joins the first team as an assistant coach to Hans Flick, taking on tasks related to tactical aspects and contributing to the preparation of training sessions."

Barcelona is preparing to face Valencia on Sunday in the fourth round of La Liga at Johan Cruyff Stadium.
