The German newspaper "Bild" revealed that Bayern Munich tried in 2022 to contract Barcelona stars Lamine Yamal and Gavi, through a meeting held in Madrid between the then sports director Hasan Salihamidžić and player agent Ivan de la Peña.

Regarding Lamine Yamal, Bayern could not sign him before 2023 when he turns 16, but the Bavarian club made an offer to his family worth 5 million euros to move to Germany, but the player preferred to stay at Barcelona.

Later, Lamine changed his agent and came under the management of Jorge Mendes, while Gavi continued to work with de la Peña, who successfully guided his career within Barcelona.

Lamine recently renewed his contract until 2031 with a buyout clause of one billion euros, while Gavi signed an extension of his contract until 2030 with the same buyout clause, and both ignored external offers, being key pillars in Barcelona's project.
