Portuguese star Rafael Leao is preparing to return to AC Milan after the end of the international break, following his recovery from the injury he sustained during the team's match against Bari in the Coppa Italia.

According to what was published by 'Football Italia', coach Massimiliano Allegri plans to rely on Leao as a central striker, a position in which the player excelled during the pre-season preparations, whether in the 3-5-2 formation alongside another striker or in the 4-3-2-1 system.

Leao had shown impressive performance during the pre-season preparations before suffering his injury, and his return will provide Allegri with a strong attacking boost, especially after signing Christopher Nkunku from Chelsea, who offers great tactical flexibility in the attack.
