Moroccan international Azzedine Onahi made his first appearance in training with his new team Girona on Sunday, after officially joining them during the current summer transfer window.

Onahi participated in his first training session wearing the Girona jersey, following the signing of a contract that extends until June 30, 2030, thus beginning his new journey in La Liga.

Media reports have confirmed that the transfer of the Moroccan midfielder cost Girona around 6 million euros, with his former club Olympique Marseille receiving a percentage of any future transfer involving the 25-year-old player.

Girona is counting on Onahi's abilities to enhance their midfield, benefiting from his international experience with the Moroccan national team, which caught attention during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
