The reliable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that AC Milan has made an official offer to Liverpool to sign English defender Joe Gomez, confirming that negotiations between the two clubs are currently ongoing.

Romano clarified that the offer from Milan is for a permanent transfer, with terms currently being discussed between the parties. He added that Liverpool will allow Gomez to leave if they successfully sign defender Marc Guehi.

These developments come after reports from 'Football Italia' indicated that Gomez is open to the idea of moving to Milan before the summer transfer window closes, although the final agreement remains complicated and depends on reaching an understanding regarding the financial value and personal terms.
