Syrian international Omar Jihad Al-Soma revealed his new destination after completing his short experience with Wydad Athletic Club during the FIFA Club World Cup.

Al-Hazm Saudi Club announced the signing of the veteran striker in a free transfer deal, marking Al-Soma's return to the Saudi league after his brief stint with the red team.

Wydad had signed the Syrian goal scorer just days before the start of the Club World Cup, but his participation was limited to a few minutes; he joined the team’s camp late and only played one half against Juventus, before starting in the third match against Al Ain of the UAE, which ended in a loss for the team led by veteran Nourredine Amrabat.

Al-Soma's return to the Saudi league through Al-Hazm opens up a new opportunity for him to enhance his scoring record, especially since he is considered one of the most prominent Arab strikers who have left a strong mark in the Gulf arenas.
