Busquets Reveals His Candidate for the Ballon d'Or
Sergio Busquets, the former captain of Barcelona and current player for Inter Miami, expressed his great happiness for the successes achieved by his former teammates after his departure from the Catalan club, especially those who transferred to Paris Saint-Germain.
Busquets said in press statements: "I am very happy with what my friends have achieved. I wished Barcelona would win the Champions League, but since that didn't happen, it's natural that I was very happy for my friends, whether with the coaching staff or with the players I played with who are now at PSG."
He added regarding the Ballon d'Or race: "I hope Ousmane Dembélé can win it. Of course, I also have teammates at Barcelona who deserve it, but I don't know how the voters will decide and what will be presented as a decisive factor, whether it's winning an important title like the Champions League or other things."
Busquets concluded his remarks by saying: "I have never intervened in these awards because I find it very difficult to evaluate them and know who is the best, especially in different positions. But I wish the best for everyone."
