Haitham Al-Husseini: I Hope to Assign the Iraqi Stars League Calendar to Ensure Neutrality

Sports journalist Maitham Al-Husseini opens an important file related to organizing the Iraqi Stars League calendar, considering that this sensitive issue needs a neutral management away from any pressures or electoral calculations.

Al-Husseini said in press statements: "I hope that the responsibility for setting the Iraqi league calendar will be assigned to the Spanish La Liga association."

He added: "La Liga has a great deal of experience in managing such files, and it is a neutral entity that does not favor anyone, nor is it linked to any electoral or personal interests."

He pointed out by saying: "The calendar in Iraq has often been affected by conflicts and disputes, which has negatively impacted clubs, players, and even national teams."
