The future of Algerian international Nabil Bentaleb with French club Lille has become unclear, as the newspaper L'Équipe revealed that the club's management, led by Olivier Létang, does not oppose parting ways with him before the summer transfer window closes.

The newspaper indicated that Lille has decided to open the door for the departure of two midfield players, namely Nabil Bentaleb and André Gomes, while retaining other players who are attracting interest from Premier League clubs, such as Ngalaile Mukao and Alexandru.

Bentaleb, whose contract with Lille runs until the summer of 2026, participated as a substitute in the season opener against Brest, playing only five minutes, which reflects the difficulty of securing a starting position this season in the coach's lineup.
