Arsenal secured a 3-0 victory over their French visitors Lille in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday evening, scoring all three of their goals in a short period during the second half to clinch the match.

The first half ended in a goalless draw, with Lille's solid defensive organization limiting the hosts' chances for long periods. However, Arsenal raised their game after the break, with Jurriën Timber opening the scoring in the 64th minute after capitalizing on a pass from Noni Madueke and lifting the ball with a deft touch over the goalkeeper.

Eberechi Eze extended Arsenal's lead in the 67th minute, capitalizing on a passing error from Lille, before Bukayo Saka capped off the scoring in the 71st minute, following an attack involving Kai Havertz and Martin Ødegaard. The three goals came within seven minutes, as the French side struggled with ball loss and errors in the second half.

The match saw impactful tactical interventions from Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, who introduced Bukayo Saka, Martin Ødegaard, and Kai Havertz at the start of Lille's defensive collapse, while the French team's substitutions failed to change the scoreline. Arsenal maintained their lead until the final whistle, emerging with a clean-sheet victory.

Arsenal have increased their tally to 6 points after securing their second win in the league stage, sitting in third place on goal difference. They previously defeated Napoli 1-0 in the opening round, while Lille remain without points following their second loss, having fallen to Real Betis 3-2 in their first match.
