Officially.. Bologna announces the signing of Jonathan Rowe from Marseille
The Italian club Bologna announced today, Sunday, in an official statement about completing the signing of English winger Jonathan Rowe, a player from French club Marseille, to strengthen the team's squad for the current season.
According to what the British network "Sky Sports" reported, the value of the deal was around 19.5 million euros, allowing the 22-year-old player to officially join the Italian club.
Jonathan had transferred to Marseille last January from Norwich City for 14.5 million euros, before the French club decided to sell him during the current transfer window.
Marseille's decision to put Jonathan up for sale came after a strong altercation occurred between him and teammate Adrien Rabiot in the locker room, following their defeat against Stade Rennais by a goal to nil in the opening of the French league, which prompted the club's management to decide to part ways with both players.
