Shikabala Reveals Why He Hasn't Pursued Coaching
Mahmoud Abdel Razek Shikabala, the former Zamalek star, revealed in television statements the reason he hasn't pursued coaching.
Shikabala said on MBC Masr channel: "I wanted to be a coach, but I saw that this would take from my reputation, because I would want to coach Zamalek, and within Zamalek, the situation is difficult, and people won't leave me alone and will fight me as if I were an enemy."
He added: "I have public support, but within the club, I have no reputation, and this is the truth. I lived with those people, and they were sending things to journalists that I didn't do, making me look bad."
He concluded: "Maybe this happened because I don't stay silent about any wrongdoing by anyone in the administration."
