Roma Coach Confirms Desire for Captain's Departure
Gian Piero Gasperini, the head coach of Roma, acknowledged that the best solution for the Wolves' captain Lorenzo Pellegrini is to leave.
Gasperini stated: "The club does not want to extend his contract... and he needs to play... so if there is a solution for him to leave and play, the club would be open to that."
He also mentioned: "Pellegrini is on the verge of recovery, but he has not trained with the team. His situation is unclear."
He added: "It seems difficult for him to find a new team at the moment. If he finds a suitable path, everyone will be happy, him and the club."
