Milan's head coach, Massimiliano Allegri, confirmed that his team will kick off the new season in the Italian league 2025/2026 with an important match against Cremonese, stressing the importance of teamwork and the necessity of respecting all opponents.

Allegri said: "Tomorrow we start the season with an important match, I am very excited, especially since I am returning to the sidelines after a year of absence. It was great to see the fans at the Coppa Italia, and tomorrow there will be 75,000 supporters at San Siro. We need to work well to be in the best shape by March, I am happy with the group, it is turning into a real team."

He spoke about his goals with the team, saying: "In the league, we must progress steadily as if we are on a cruise; we shouldn't rush too much, but we must maintain stability. Our goal is to return to the Champions League next season without imposing limits on ourselves. We can achieve this through desire, hard work, and attention to detail in training."

Regarding the match against Cremonese, Allegri said: "We must respect all opponents because matches are decided on the field. Just being Milan doesn't mean we start 2-0 ahead; we must be humble and intelligent. Every match will be difficult, and we must respect every competitor."

When asked about Nigerian striker Victor Bonifas, he replied: "At the moment, he is not a player for Milan, so out of respect for the other club, I won't comment. As for the fans, we need to attract them not only with our technical performance but also through teamwork. I am confident they will support us when they see that."
