Fiery Statements from Mido After the Withdrawal of Zamalek's Land in October Branch
Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former Zamalek star, commented on the withdrawal of the land designated for Zamalek Club in the 6th of October branch by the Ministry of Housing in Egypt.
Mido said via the "X" platform: "Before I talk about the issue of trying to withdraw the piece of land allocated to Zamalek Club for the 6th of October branch, I confirmed the accuracy of my information from several sources."
He added: "Zamalek has all its papers in order and has recently paid the fees for the privileges it received, whether for increasing the construction ratio or increasing the number of floors in the buildings, and Zamalek has recently received a letter extending the period allowed to complete the first phase of the buildings, which is 30% of the construction ratio."
He continued: "Zamalek has been in possession of this land since 2004, and no one has put a nail in it, and no one has ever had a problem. Now, when Zamalek started working and began contracting for 27 stadiums, it has started to generate income and is about to stand on its feet and does not need support from anyone. This is what all Zamalek fans have been dreaming of for years so that we can compete and regularly pay our players' dues and the club's employees, and finally we will settle down. They sent people to stop the work and withdraw the land."
