Crystal Palace Targets Wolves Player
Tuesday 19-08-2025
Sky Sports revealed that Crystal Palace has shown interest in signing South Korean striker Hwang Hee-chan, a player for Wolverhampton, during the current summer transfer window, as it seeks to strengthen its attacking line.

Hwang, who is 29 years old, is a versatile forward but prefers to play as a center forward. Despite Palace's desire to sign him, he is not seen as a direct replacement for star player Eberechi Eze.

Wolverhampton rejected the idea of loaning the player, as they insist on keeping him within the squad, especially since he recently came on as a substitute in the match against Manchester City, which ended in a 4-0 defeat for the Wolves.

Crystal Palace's interest in Hwang comes at a time when the team is suffering from the absence of striker Eddie Nketiah due to a hamstring injury, prompting the club to move towards enhancing its attacking options before the transfer market closes.
