Hans Flick, the head coach of FC Barcelona, expressed his dissatisfaction with the ongoing crisis of registering some players before the start of the 2025/2026 season in La Liga, while also indicating his trust in the club's management to resolve the issue before the match against Mallorca on Saturday. The German coach also spoke about the team's technical condition and touched on several topics concerning the players.

Flick said: "I am very happy with what I saw during the training sessions; the last session was of high quality, and the players are ready for tomorrow's match."

Regarding the player registration crisis, he said: "This is the situation; I am not satisfied with it, but I trust the club. A similar thing happened last season, and we have to focus on what we can do; the rest, I leave it to the club."

On the signing of goalkeeper Juan Garcia, he added: "The decision was collective; we all agreed to sign him. He is a great goalkeeper, behind him is Szczęsny, and I am completely satisfied with the goalkeeping situation."

About Lamine Yamal, he said: "Lamine trains excellently, both with and without the ball, he defends and presses hard. We saw him against Como, and he was fantastic; he is on the right track and continuously developing. I don't care about the number of goals he scores, but rather what he provides for the team."

Regarding Ter Stegen: "The most important thing is that everyone talks, and that has happened between Ter Stegen and the club. He is an amazing goalkeeper, and we all need to help him return to his best form."

On the departure of Iñigo Martínez: "It was a surprise for me while we were returning from Korea. I am not happy with his departure because he is a great player with a strong personality; he was a leader in the dressing room and helped the team a lot. I wish him the best."

He continued: "The players are focused and have quality; winning three titles does not mean the end, but a new beginning. Our goal is to improve and win every match."

On Marc Bernal, he added: "The doctor told me he will be out for a whole year; we don't mind waiting a few more weeks because his professional future is more important. He is working hard, and we will see him soon."

About Fermín López, he said: "I was not satisfied with his level at the beginning of the preparations, but he has improved a lot in the past two weeks. Against Como, he proved his quality; last season was fantastic for him."

On competition in midfield, he said: "It is good to have high-quality players, but things must be managed well. The door is always open for discussion with the players."

Regarding the ambitions for the new season, he confirmed: "The title is not the immediate goal; what matters is continuous progress, improving match by match, and developing the style of play. The road is still long."

On the diversity of players and their positions, he said: "Gerard can play as a full-back or a center-back; I like having players who can play in multiple positions."
