Al-Zawraa Club announced the start of its external training camp next Tuesday, August 19, when the team delegation will depart to the Egyptian capital, Cairo, to enter a period of intensive preparation lasting between 12 to 14 days, as part of its preparations for the new season of the Iraqi Premier League.

The camp will include three friendly matches against Egyptian clubs to be determined later, aiming to enhance the players' cohesion and refine their physical and technical readiness before returning to Baghdad to complete the final phase of preparations.

This program is part of the coaching staff's plan to increase exposure and provide a comprehensive training environment that helps the team enter local competitions in the best possible shape.

Regarding the transfer market, Al-Zawraa's management confirmed that the team is in the final stages of closing the contracts file, after completing most of the deals it needed during the past period, to begin the serious preparation phase that the coaching staff relies on to achieve full readiness before the whistle blows for the new season.
