Paris Saint-Germain Finalizes Zabarni Deal
Paris Saint-Germain has successfully signed Ukrainian defender Ilya Zabarni from Bournemouth in a deal worth 70 million euros, including bonuses, according to Spanish newspaper 'AS'.
Zabarni, who is 22 years old, is considered one of the standout players in the English Premier League last season and has attracted interest from several European clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, whose coach Luis Enrique supported the signing.
Zabarni joined Bournemouth in 2023 from Dynamo Kyiv and signed a five-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain until June 2030. The Parisian club has been keen to sign him since last January to strengthen their defense.
Paris Saint-Germain is eagerly awaiting the player's arrival, preparing for his participation in the UEFA Super Cup match against Tottenham Hotspur, scheduled for August 13.
