Ferreira: Happy with the win and we will continue to work to maintain victories in the upcoming period
Yannick Ferreira, the coach of Zamalek, commented on his team's victory over Ceramica Cleopatra in the league.
Zamalek won against Ceramica with a score of 2-0 in the match held on Friday evening as part of the first round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Ferreira said in the press conference after the match: "Our team succeeded in controlling the possession of Ceramica, who only had one chance in the first half."
He added: "At times, the opponent had more ball possession, but we managed to create many attacking situations in the match, and we hoped to have the ball for a longer period, but the players showed an excellent mentality and put in great efforts to achieve the win."
He continued: "I am happy with the win that we deserve, and we will continue to work to maintain victories in the upcoming period."
He added: "Nabil Donga was not injured, but the coaching staff felt the player was fatigued, in addition to receiving a yellow card, and there was concern about him receiving a red card, but he had a good match."
Regarding Shiko Banza's anger after being substituted, Ferreira responded, saying: "I have never seen a player substituted and be happy. This is not a huge situation for us to dwell on, and I am sure the player has a lot to offer the team."
