Marwan Al-Sahafi, the winger for Ittihad, has chosen to move to Royal Antwerp in Belgium on a one-season loan, preferring the offer over several proposals from English Championship clubs.

The Belgian club finalized the deal, as announced by the "Sports - Urgent" account on the "X" platform, with only a few final procedures remaining before the official announcement of the player's transfer.

Al-Sahafi made his decision after meeting with representatives from Antwerp, who provided him with a detailed explanation of the club's plan for the new season, prompting him to prefer a return to the Belgian league once again.

The player previously had an experience in Belgium with Beerschot, where he participated in 28 matches, scoring six goals and assisting one, which gave him additional experience in the league there.

Al-Sahafi faced his new team twice while playing with Beerschot, with the first match ending in a heavy loss (5–0), while the two teams drew in the second match (1–1), with no scoring contributions from the player.

In his last appearance wearing the Ittihad jersey, he scored a goal during a friendly match against Portuguese team Portimonense, which ended in a loss for the team with a score of 2–1 on Saturday evening.
