Reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Paris Saint-Germain is preparing to intensify its negotiations with Bournemouth to sign Ukrainian defender Illya Zabarni, amid a lack of serious movement from Tottenham, which was previously linked with the player.

Romano clarified that Zabarni is open to the idea of moving to the Parisian club, as discussions are currently taking place between the two parties regarding additional details related to the deal.

Zabarni joined Bournemouth in January 2023 from Dynamo Kyiv for €22.7 million, with his current contract running until June 30, 2029, and his market value is €42 million according to Transfermarkt.

The Ukrainian defender participated in 39 matches with Bournemouth during the last season and provided one assist.
