Reports revealed today, Monday, that the Spanish club Barcelona is interested in signing Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus, a player for Arsenal, during the ongoing summer transfer period.

According to the website "Tutto Mercato", Barcelona's management is still seeking to strengthen the front line under the leadership of German coach Hans Flick, despite the team having a core attacking trio that includes Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, and Raphinha, in addition to the new arrival Marcus Rashford.

The report indicated that Barcelona is considering the possibility of signing Jesus, especially after he lost his starting position in Arsenal's lineup following the English club's signing of Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres from Sporting Lisbon.

It was also clarified that Jesus is attracting interest from other major European clubs, such as Milan, Tottenham, and Newcastle.

It is worth mentioning that Jesus, who suffered an ACL injury last season, participated in 27 official matches with Arsenal, scoring 7 goals and providing 2 assists.
