Galatasaray Makes Official Offer to Sign Donnarumma
Interest is growing in Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, the guardian of Paris Saint-Germain's goal, as the end of his contract with the French club approaches, set for the summer of 2026, with no agreement reached on extending the contract so far.
According to 'Foot Mercato', Turkish club Galatasaray has made an official offer to sign Donnarumma, while the club itself is close to reaching an agreement with Napoli to acquire Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
The stalled negotiations for renewal between Donnarumma and Paris Saint-Germain are due to financial disagreements, as the goalkeeper currently earns a monthly salary of 850,000 euros, while the French club offered him a fixed salary plus bonuses tied to the number of appearances, which the player did not accept.
Nevertheless, Donnarumma expressed in previous statements during June his desire to stay, saying: 'I feel comfortable here, and the club decides to extend my contract. My first choice is to continue in Paris, and I may return to Italy one day, but for now, I enjoy every moment with this team.'
