Officially: Wolverhampton announces the signing of John Arias

Wolverhampton Wanderers has officially announced its signing of Colombian winger John Arias, coming from Brazilian club Fluminense, during the current summer transfer window.

Arias, who is 27 years old, has joined Wolverhampton on a four-year contract, with an option to extend for an additional year, in a deal reportedly worth around 17 million euros.

The move to sign Arias came after his impressive performance with Fluminense in the recently held FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.

The player participated in this tournament in six matches, scoring one goal and providing one assist, before his team was eliminated from the tournament after losing to Chelsea in the semifinals with a score of 2-0.
