Al-Ghandour Launches Attack on Ahmed Fattouh, Zamalek Star
Khaled Al-Ghandour attacked former Zamalek star Ahmed Fattouh after the controversy stirred by the latter in recent hours.
The player appeared in a circulating video on social media while attending a concert by artist Ragheb Alama in the North Coast.
Al-Ghandour said in a video broadcast on his Facebook page: "This player previously caused a huge problem with Mortada Mansour because he refused to play in a match over an issue we shouldn't talk about, and then he traveled to the coast and had an incident. When they checked him, they found he was under the influence of something, and he caused the death of a citizen who supported a family, and he was imprisoned for two and a half months, and he could have been sentenced to 5 years for manslaughter. After that, the family agreed to the blood money, and he paid millions to get out, and then a case arises, and may God get him out of it... After all this, he should have learned a lesson and gotten closer to God and thanked Him for the blessing he is in; he could have been imprisoned by now. In less than a year, the team takes more than a month's vacation, so he goes out and travels and enjoys himself as he pleases."
He added: "Is it acceptable to ask for permission during the camp to attend a concert and then people find you there?! This is called recklessness and irresponsibility, and a person does not learn from his mistakes. Then you come and tell me to refer him for investigation and a fine of one million pounds?! This is someone who was imprisoned for two and a half months and paid millions to get out, and before that, he had a closed camp for an important match in the league. They told him to return, and he said he would not return until after the party! Previously, he had an important match, and when he learned that there would be a doping test, he withdrew from the starting lineup, and at that time, Mortada Mansour said very strong words about him."
He concluded: "This is a person who does not learn; will a million pounds or a suspension make a difference? He must be sold, and there is no hope for commitment from him, especially if after everything that has happened to him, he is still behaving this way."
