Manchester United Raises Anthony's Sale Price
Brazilian media reports have revealed that Manchester United has raised the price for parting with Brazilian star Anthony, due to the interest of several clubs in acquiring his services.
The British newspaper "UOL" reported that Manchester United was very impressed with the level that Brazilian Anthony showed during the second half of last season with Real Betis, prompting them to raise the asking price for his sale to £50 million.
The reports clarified that Brighton and Newcastle United have already contacted the player's agent to discuss the possibility of signing him during the current summer transfer window.
Manchester United was previously willing to let go of Anthony for less than £40 million.
