Dortmund's Stance on Nmecha's Departure Amid Interest from Europe's Top Clubs

Monday 29-06-2026
The Spanish newspaper "AS" revealed that Borussia Dortmund does not intend to part with their German midfielder Felix Nmecha during the current summer transfer window, despite the significant interest he has attracted from several European clubs.

According to the newspaper, Nmecha delivered outstanding performances with the German national team in the 2026 World Cup, which increased his value in the transfer market and made him a target for several major European clubs.

The player is among the names that Real Madrid has prioritized to strengthen their midfield this summer, as the club seeks to add a player who combines physical strength and technical abilities.

Interest in Nemesio is not limited to Real Madrid, as major English clubs, most notably Liverpool, Manchester United, and Newcastle United, are monitoring the player's situation in preparation for possibly making a move to sign him.

It is noted that the German club wants around 100 million euros in exchange for letting go of the young player, while there is a release clause of 80 million euros that becomes active in the summer of 2027.
