Today, Al-Ahli Qatar Club officially announced the signing of Moroccan international player Ayoub Amraoui, coming from French club Nice, with a contract extending for three seasons until the summer of 2028.

The club's official statement on its website indicated that the signing of Amraoui (21 years old) is part of the club's management plan to strengthen the team's ranks with quality players capable of achieving ambitions, especially as Al-Ahli will participate in local and continental competitions, representing Qatari football in the AFC Champions League for the first time in its history.

Ayoub Amraoui plays as a left-back and is also skilled in offensive roles and playmaking. He stood out significantly with his previous club Nice during the last season and has also participated with the Moroccan Olympic national team.

Recently, Al-Ahli Qatar has made several local signings and renewed contracts for several key players, including goalkeepers Marwan Sherif and Yazan Naim, in addition to player Jassim Mohammed.

The team is expected to begin its journey in the 2025-2026 sports season by facing Al-Shamal Club in the first round of the Qatari league, scheduled for August 14.
