The Spanish club Albacete has announced its signing of defender Jesus Vallejo to represent the team for two seasons, coming from Real Madrid, in a deal that strengthens the team's backline with significant experience despite the player's young age.

Vallejo, born in Zaragoza on January 5, 1997, has had an impressive career, having played over 200 matches at elite levels, both in La Liga and abroad. He began his professional career at the age of 17 and achieved many accomplishments both at the club level and with Spain's youth national teams.

Jesus's journey began at the Real Zaragoza academy, where he was quickly promoted to the first team, participating in 45 official matches during the 2014-2015 season. He was selected for the ideal lineup of the second division and led the Spanish national team to win the Under-19 European Championship, then won the Under-21 European Championship in 2019, and earned a silver medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

In the summer of 2015, Vallejo moved to Real Madrid and was initially loaned back to his former team Zaragoza, before having a successful stint in the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt during the 2016-2017 season, where he played 25 matches, 22 of which were as a starter.

Later, he returned to Real Madrid and won several domestic and continental titles, then had a new experience with Wolverhampton in the English Premier League, before being loaned to Granada, where he played 51 matches over a season and a half, and then returned to Real Madrid, spending the 2023-2024 season again with Granada.

Vallejo now joins Albacete at the age of 28, armed with vast experience and a rich record, making him an important addition to the ambitious club in its upcoming journey.
