Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano announced via his official account on the platform X that Arsenal has reached a verbal agreement with Valencia to sign young defender Cristian Mosquera during the current summer transfer window.

Romano clarified that the value of the deal is 15 million euros plus additional financial incentives, bringing the total contract value to just under 20 million euros. He also confirmed that Mosquera has expressed a strong desire to join Arsenal, with a long-term contract agreed upon with the player.

Mosquera is scheduled to undergo medical examinations later this week, provided everything goes according to plan.

During the last season, Mosquera participated in 41 matches with Valencia, including 37 matches out of 38 in La Liga, and he also played in 3 matches out of 4 with the Spain U21 team in the European Championship.
