The Board of Directors of Zamalek Club, headed by Hussein Labib, announced today, Friday, the official contract with Belgian head coach Yannick Ferreira to lead the first football team during the upcoming period.

Ferreira was chosen after a comparison among several names, in coordination between the club's sports director and the board of directors, following the decision to part ways with the previous coaching staff led by Ayman Al-Ramadi, who took on the role temporarily.

The club's sports director, John Edward, signed the contracts with Ferreira for one season, with the Belgian coach and his assistant staff receiving a monthly salary of $50,000, as announced by Hazem Imam, a former member of the club's planning committee.

With this contract, Zamalek begins a new phase with Ferreira, in its quest to regain local and continental titles in the upcoming season.
