It seems that Al-Zawraa Club has decided to enter the summer transfer market early, setting its sights on strengthening its squad with prominent names from the Iraqi league, as part of rebuilding the team after a tough season that included many administrative and technical changes.

According to informed sources, the management of Al-Zawraa has finalized its agreement with the forward of Al-Student Club, "Hussein Abdullah Lawandi," who has shown his initial approval to move to the white castle next season. The player is considered one of the most prominent young forwards in the Iraqi Stars League, characterized by speed, skill, and the ability to move in spaces, making him a promising option for Al-Zawraa's attack, which suffered from inconsistency last season.

Alongside Lawandi, the Tunisian right-back "Ghaith Al-Maaroufi," a player from Al-Student, has also caught the interest of the swans. Al-Maaroufi had a remarkable season in the elegant jersey, contributing crucial goals and providing good defensive and offensive returns. Al-Zawraa has begun direct negotiations with the player and his agents, but the deal has not yet been finalized, amid the presence of other parties that may come into play.
