Tottenham Targets Mohammed Kudus from West Ham
Monday 30-06-2025
Tottenham Hotspur is preparing to enter serious negotiations to sign Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus, a player for West Ham United, making him the first player to move directly from West Ham to Spurs since Scott Parker in 2011.

Tottenham has identified Kudus as a priority to strengthen the attacking line under the new coach Thomas Frank, especially after failing in previous attempts to sign Mbeumo, Antoine Semenyo, and Eze.

The London club is seeking to complete the deal for an amount less than the release clause of £85 million, which is activated during the first ten days of July.

For its part, West Ham seems ready to sell the 24-year-old player, aiming to finance a team rebuilding project led by coach Graham Potter, with indications of Kudus's desire to experience a new opportunity with Spurs.

Although Tottenham has not yet made an official offer, there is optimism within the club about the possibility of finalizing the deal, especially with West Ham needing to provide liquidity. It is worth mentioning that Kudus joined West Ham two seasons ago from Ajax for £40 million and showed strong performances in his first season before his scoring rate declined in the last season.
