Tottenham target new goalkeeper
Brazilian goalkeeper Otávio, 20, is on Tottenham's radar, according to English site "TEAMtalk", which noted that several European clubs are monitoring the player.
Tottenham and Nottingham Forest have sent their scouts to monitor the goalkeeper, who was the subject of a rejected €13 million offer from Cruzeiro last summer, with SSC Napoli, FC Porto, and Borussia Dortmund also interested in signing him.
Cruzeiro have extended Otávio's contract until 2031, with a release clause of €100 million for foreign clubs, while they may agree to start negotiations for an offer ranging between €25 million and €30 million.
The goalkeeper has delivered impressive performances, keeping several clean sheets and making his debut for the Brazil national team against Australia in a Friendly.
Clubs remain interested in the player, as Cruzeiro are under no pressure to sell, while Otávio aims to move to one of the top five European leagues in the future.
