Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Arsenal is close to finalizing a deal for young defender Cristian Mosquera coming from Valencia.

Romano explained via his official account on the platform 'X' that Arsenal reached a full agreement with Mosquera regarding personal terms, while negotiations with Valencia's management continue to finalize the financial agreement.

He noted that the London club submitted an initial offer of 14 million euros, which Valencia rejected, and is preparing a new offer worth around 20 million euros or slightly more, with negotiations between the two parties ongoing.

Mosquera is 21 years old and has played 41 matches with Valencia in various competitions, during which he scored one goal, and the young defender is expected to strengthen Arsenal's squad in the new season.
