Ahmed Mortada Mansour comments on Zizo's transfer to Al-Ahly
Ahmed Mortada Mansour, a former board member of Zamalek Club, commented on the transfer of star Ahmed Sayed Zizo to Al-Ahly.
He stated in remarks published by media personality Omar Rabea Yassin on Facebook: "We agreed to sell Zizo, but he refused. I told the board members that we must sell him, as it seems he has decided to go to Al-Ahly."
He added: "I had a feeling he would go to Al-Ahly or Pyramids, and he definitely went for the more financially beneficial option, and that's not a shame or a fault in professional football."
He concluded: "Zizo is not greedy; he achieved his personal interests, which is natural in the world of football, and he certainly has the right to look out for his own interests. He was hoping to secure his future."
