
Liverpool Signs Goalkeeper Freddy Woodman on Free Transfer
Liverpool FC announced today, Friday, that it has officially signed goalkeeper Freddy Woodman, coming from Preston North End, on a free transfer during the summer transfer window.
Woodman is 28 years old and has previously represented several English clubs, most notably Crystal Palace, Newcastle United, and Bournemouth, before moving to Preston in 2022 and spending three seasons there.
According to Liverpool's official website, Woodman will occupy the third goalkeeper position in the team, behind the duo Alisson Becker and Giorgi Mamardashvili, who recently joined from Valencia in Spain.
