Arnold: My Struggle Against Vinicius is Over, This is Our Goal and Ambition
Trent Alexander Arnold, the star of Real Madrid, confirmed that the royal club is looking to win titles and championships in the upcoming period, emphasizing that coach Xabi Alonso still possesses his abilities as a player despite the years since his retirement.
Arnold said: "The history of this club shows that we win titles, and this is what we strive for; it's part of the club's identity. This is our goal and ambition, and this is what we aspire to as a team."
He added: "When Xabi joins us in training, you can see that he still has very high quality, which is amazing. I grew up watching him, and he hasn't lost any of his skills at all. He can still lace up his boots and play with us if he wants; he still has that quality."
He continued: "In the past, when I faced Vinicius, I struggled a lot against him; it's nice that this is happening to other people now instead of me (laughs)."
He followed: "The more stable I am with the players off the pitch, the easier it becomes for me in everything. I think the adaptation period has ended, and it's time to show a different side."
He concluded: "Jude Bellingham has proven for many years that he is a world-class player, and I thought again today that he is the best or one of the best midfielders and one of the best players in the world."
