Kepa Undergoes Medical Examination Ahead of Move to Arsenal
The Spanish goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga, is close to officially joining Arsenal during the summer transfer window, coming from Chelsea.
Sky Sports reported that Kepa is currently undergoing medical examinations in preparation for his transfer to the Gunners, with expectations of an official announcement about the deal within the next 24 to 48 hours.
Kepa is expected to move to Arsenal for a fee estimated at around £5 million, as he will finalize the deal after passing the medical examination.
It is worth noting that the 30-year-old goalkeeper previously played on loan with Real Madrid and Bournemouth in past seasons, after moving to Chelsea in the summer of 2018 from Athletic Bilbao in a record deal worth €80 million, making him the most expensive goalkeeper at that time.
