Manchester City officially announced the signing of Dutch midfielder Tijani Reinders from Italian club Milan, on a contract that extends for five years, making him available to participate with the team in the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.

Reinders, who is 26 years old, had an exceptional season with Milan, during which he was awarded the Best Midfielder in Serie A for the 2024/2025 season, scoring 15 goals in 54 matches, marking the best scoring record of his career so far.

The Dutch player is known for his ability to play both defensive and attacking roles in midfield, and he is famous for his precise passing, intelligent movements, and powerful shots from outside the box, which made him one of the standout midfielders in Europe last season.

Reinders expressed his great happiness at joining Manchester City, confirming that playing in the Premier League is a dream come true, and he mentioned his desire to develop under the guidance of coach Pep Guardiola and contribute to continuing the successes achieved.
