Ayman Al-Ramadi's Statements Before the Egypt Cup Final
Tuesday 03-06-2025
Ayman Al-Ramadi, the head coach of Zamalek, spoke about his team's match against Pyramids scheduled for next Thursday in the Egypt Cup final.

The head coach said in the press conference held before the match: "Zamalek has reached a good state before the match despite the coaching staff taking over the technical responsibility only three weeks and a few days ago. I deeply thank the players for their focus, and I have dealt with wonderful players. Honestly, I never imagined that they would understand the features of the playing style I relied on in such a short time, and this is a very good thing."

Ayman Al-Ramadi continued: "All I hope is for us to be successful in the upcoming match because this will be a very big step to make millions of Zamalek fans happy. I reiterate my thanks to the team players, especially the senior players like Shikabala, Omar Gaber, and Abdullah Al-Saeed, who have helped me a lot, and I enjoyed working with them and their ideas."

The head coach added: "I have a very hardworking team, and everything that has been stirred up in the past period was a storm in a teacup, because the team includes a distinguished group of players, and I am fortunate to work with Zamalek players. The team may need 3 or 4 players at most, and Zamalek has a distinguished roster. I want the players to trust themselves and play with courage, and all I ask of them is to have confidence in themselves."

He continued: "Before I worked at Zamalek, my assessment of the team players was different from my assessment of them after working with them, due to what is said about the team and the roster. However, after working with them, I found that they are the elite players in Egypt, and they are the best, and they will prove that day by day. There are those who underestimate the team's performance, and they will prove in the match against Pyramids that they have great competence, and they can show that they are great players in critical situations. My assessment of them before working with them is completely different from my assessment after taking charge of the team. After working with them, I learned the true abilities of each player and their artistic value. These players have been wronged regarding what has been attributed to them because they are very committed, professional, and love the club and are loyal to it. I worked with them under very harsh conditions, and their true character emerged in every training session. I want them to play freely, and any positive result will be due to the players' competence and excellence because they are wonderful players."

Regarding the injured players, he said: "If we search on Google for the most asked question directed to a coach in the history of global and Egyptian football, it would be the question directed to me about the injured players in the club. This question has been repeated a lot. The problem lies in the readiness of the players returning from injury and their ability to participate in matches. Any player on the team can fill the gap, and the injured player may have recovered from the injury but is not technically ready. Their readiness for the upcoming match will be assessed."

Ayman Al-Ramadi concluded his statements by saying: "I hope to be successful in the match against Pyramids in the presence of a large number of fans. As I said, Zamalek fans are the strongest link, and we need them very much in the upcoming match against Pyramids in the Egypt Cup final. We hope to make them happy in the match."
