Akram Tawfik, the former midfielder of Al Ahly, revealed his opinion on the transfer of Ahmed Sayed Zizo, the Zamalek winger, to the Red Castle during the current summer transfer window.

Akram Tawfik said in his remarks: "Ahmed Sayed Zizo will be the most important deal in the history of the two clubs if he comes with good motives that make him perform well."

He added: "If not, I don't think so, as playing for Al Ahly is different and comes with greater pressure than Zamalek. Al Ahly participates in many tournaments, and this requires patience."

It is worth noting that Al Ahly successfully concluded Zizo's deal after the player failed to negotiate with Zamalek regarding renewing his contract, which ends at the end of the current football season 2024-25.

Al Ahly is expected to announce Zizo's signing as a free transfer in the coming days.
