Mohamed Sherif: Zamalek Did Not Contact Me
Mohamed Sherif, the striker for Al-Khaleej Saudi Arabia, revealed the truth about his potential transfer to Zamalek during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Sherif stated in his remarks: "Zamalek has not contacted me; there may be negotiations with my agent, but I do not personally speak with any club."
He responded to rumors about an agreement with Zamalek for a contract advance of 50 million Egyptian pounds, saying: "This is not true, and usually, we do not discuss the value of the deal at the beginning, rather the club first learns about the player's desire and then the financial compensation is discussed."
He added: "I have a good relationship with Ahmed Hossam Mido, and he developed me a lot when I trained with him at Wadi Degla. As for the claim that Zamalek wants to sign me in response to the Zizo transfer, this is unreasonable, as contracts are made according to the technical needs of each club."
Sherif continued: "I have not made my decision about my next destination yet, whether it is returning to Al-Ahly or moving to another club."
It is worth noting that there have been reports stating that Zamalek wants to sign Mohamed Sherif, the former Al-Ahly striker, in response to the transfer of their player Ahmed Sayed Zizo to the Red Castle this summer.
