Ranieri: I Restored Confidence to the Players, and We Gave Our All
Monday 26-05-2025
Claudio Ranieri, the head coach of AS Roma, made important statements to the press following the 2-0 victory against Torino in the match that took place during the 38th and final round of the 2024/2025 Serie A season.

Ranieri said: "Today we had a double reading of the match based on the good things that appeared in the second half against Milan. I congratulate Juventus, and I feel sad for our fans for not qualifying for the Champions League, but we gave our all. Perhaps after a few months, I will start thinking about what my career was like."

He continued: "It is strange that the name of the new coach has not been announced yet; the fans are starting to lose their patience. When the president wants to announce it, it will be his right to do so."

He added: "When I arrived, the players' morale was at an all-time low, so I started simply. I brought the group together and gave them the confidence they deserved."

He concluded his statements with a message to the fans, saying: "The fans know they can trust me, and they supported us and welcomed us with love. We lost the first two matches, but after that, the players gave their all, and I thank them for that."
