English media reports have revealed that Aston Villa is interested in signing Caoimhín Kelleher, the goalkeeper of Liverpool and the Ireland national team, during the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to what was published by The Sun, Aston Villa's management sees Kelleher as an ideal option to compensate for the potential departure of their first-choice goalkeeper, Argentine Emiliano Martínez, who is attracting significant interest from major European clubs such as Barcelona and Manchester United, in addition to other clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

It is worth noting that the 26-year-old Kelleher has expressed his desire for regular first-team playing opportunities, which may drive him to seek a new team next summer.
