
FIFA Notifies Zamalek of the Loss of Rights in the Bobindza Case
The International Football Federation "FIFA" has notified Zamalek Club of the loss of its rights in the case of the late player Aaron Bobindza.
The player passed away in April last year in China.
Amr Adham, a member of Zamalek's Board of Directors, stated on the program "The Captain" on "dmc" channel: "Zamalek received a notification from FIFA on Thursday regarding the Bobindza issue, and FIFA has decided that the player has passed away and that the case will not be pursued further and will not be reconsidered."
He added: "Zamalek has paid all remaining dues in the issue of Moroccan player Khaled Bouhtib, and we have informed FIFA and are awaiting the notification to lift the registration ban in this case."
He continued: "The issue concerning former Zamalek coach Jaime Pacheco will be resolved in the middle of this week, and thus we will be able to acquire new signings when the registration period opens in June."
He clarified: "The total amounts we have paid in fines reach approximately 6 million dollars, including 2.5 million euros for Khaled Bouhtib, 1.02 million euros for Pacheco with interest, 300 thousand dollars for Benjamin Achemobing, and 75 thousand dollars for Ferreira's assistants."
